The Grothendieck archives are made available on the web

grothendick archivesThe Grothendieck archives in Montpellier university contain unpublished manuscripts, particularly dealing with algebraic geometry, which account for the major part of Grothendieck's works between 1949 and 1991. These archives unveil the scientific exchanges of a mathematician at the peak of international research and offers information to study the making of his work.

After an inventory was made and conservation measures were taken, the digitalization of the documents was performed in 2016. Some 18000 pages were made public on the internet on May 10th, 2017.
