The Quantum Engineering project at the University Grenoble Alpes hosts two PhD programs which are aimed for candidates interested in Quantum Engineering, especially at the interface between physics, mathematics, computer sciences, social sciences, humanities, or with industrial coaching:
- The QuEnG program is a three-year interdisciplinary PhD program targeting 6 objectives: Quantum hardware, Quantum software, Qubit/photon interfaces, Quantum sensing, Quantum energetics, Societal and philosophical aspects of quantum theory and quantum technologies. It is funded by the Idex-UGA.
- The Grenoble Quantum Engineering (GreQue) program supports projects in strong connection with industrial partners. Its topics include: Nanoelectronics, Superconductive Qbits, Spintronics, Photonics and Computer science. It is funded by the Marie-Sklodowska Curie Actions within European Union H2020.
The PhD call for Autumn 2017 is now open. The deadline has been set to October 5, 2017, 11:59 am.
There will be two more calls in spring and autumn 2018.
